Alloy Wheel Repair FAQs
Yes, we’ve repaired thousands of wheels and we’re confident that our methods are appropiate.
Lets be clear though, a welded wheel will never be as strong as the original. If you’re seriously concerned about the potential of a welded wheel failing then sadly, you just gotta dig deep and buy a new wheel rim.
Nope. Not true. A professional weld is a proper repair.
Yes, but only if that was the original cause of the vibrations.
The most common cause will be a tyre that has bulged or is out of shape, an imbalanced wheel or warped brake discs. All of these problems, we can resolve for you.
Yes, it can. Very often an alloy rim will have more than 1 crack and a buckle all sustained thanks to one nasty pot hole. But fear not – CCM can help!
If your car is still driveable, then you can book in for while-you-wait repair.
If we can’t repair your car today, we may be able to provide you with a free to use courtesy (depending on availability).
You really don’t want to refit a bad tyre. And as a rule of thumb, we won’t. We’re here to make sure your car is safe to drive and tyres are imperative to this. We won’t do any work that puts you at risk.
If you have run your tyre flat, then be prepared to buy a new tyre.
Yes. A repaired wheel should do all the things your wheel did before.

Amazing:)I was quoted £3,600 to replace a damaged light alloy wheel for my car after hitting a pothole, CCM Gatwick repaired my wheel for under £100 in under an hour, incredible! Saved me £3,500!
Awesome skills and service, thanks so much.
I had a wheel repair done took less than an hour and very good price and receptionist was informative at all times advising how long would take and the cost involved. Also managed to fit me in at a day's notice and even though I was late the repair was done straight away. will use again A+++++
Did a perfect job repairing my bent alloy wheel! Cant even tell there was any work done on it. Lovely guys working there very friendly too.
Great quick friendly service, had a buckled wheel straightened and a cracked alloy welded, both look good and I'm back up and moving again.
Major issue with a wheel and tyre. I was immediately attended to and my car went straight into the workshop, work carried out and I was on my way. It is very rare you find a Garage that is totally professional in their approach to work and more importantly the client! Well done you're a credit to your industry!
I would defo recommend this company for fixing a buckled alloy wheel, especially on short notice as well and with a fabulous finish on my wheel which I'm over the moon with and the price and also the politeness on the phone

I gave them a ring and the lady that picked up the phone was very friendly and told me what the process is. It was a quick service once I took it there. The job on it was great and I was very happy with the work, so all and all great service and would defo use again if needed (Hope it is not)!
Got a wheel welded after it cracked hitting a pothole. Booking an appointment was really easy and upon arrival, the weld was completed within an hour. Significantly cheaper than buying a new alloy!
