Class 4: vehicles up to 3,000kg design gross weight, covering car-derived vans and smaller LCVs
Class 7: vehicles between 3,001kg and 3,500kg design gross weight, covering most full-size panel vans

Van MOTs follow the same fundamental structure as a car test – brakes, steering, lights, tyres, emissions, bodywork, and visibility – but with the additional considerations that apply to commercial vehicles, including load area condition and any relevant commercial body modifications.
For fleet operators, we can coordinate MOT bookings across multiple vehicles to minimise disruption and keep everything on schedule. Proactive reminders for upcoming MOT dates are available for fleet customers.
